I got a stubborn heart for you

It was such a warm winter's day today, almost felt like Spring! I'm wearing my favourite Sportsgirl hat, ASOS boots and a vintage dress that I altered back in Year 12, it's made of an amazingly intricate Indian silk and definitely one of my favourites.

Amazing belt I got from a Korean store in China last year

I've been getting asked about many of the DIY items in my blog, I started back in Year 12 when my girlfriends and I discovered the joys of vintage shopping and the one-offs that we managed to find. The prints, tailoring and detailing are what draws me to many of my purchases - and then I often alter them using my own designs. My sewing skills are pretty amateur though, alongside the basics taught in Textiles in Year 8, most of it I've learnt through trial and (a lot of) error.

Currently projects I'm working on are: the rabbit fur jacket that I'm thinking of turning into a vest, a black floral dress, a dotted cream & black shirt and a jade & white blazer, can't wait to colour block it! x
