Super exciting news to share with you all - Xiao and I are going away to Tokyo tomorrow for a 10 day holiday to unwind and celebrate the end of second year uni!

Can't wait for the never-ending neon lights and Harajuku fashion, as well as old-world temples and shrines of Kyoto and Osaka. It's going to be amazing but I'll miss you Melbourne! x

A summer-inspired outfit for today - I'm super excited about this new floppy hat from Sportsgirl, it's got just the right amount of flop!

DIY vintage bell-skirt that I chopped and hemmed, vintage white silk blouse with a peter-pan collar and Wittner clogs that seem to go with everything.

Sorry for the lack of activity lovelies, I've just gotten better from a virus + some ridiculously hard assignments. Have a heap of backlogged posts from Bryan from the past couple of days, so watch this space! :)

This vintage blouse has to be one of my all-time favourites, it's the perfect culmination of a lot of very cute features - lace trimmings, a peter-pan collar and old-school oriental button detailing. 

Lace-up heels from ASOS, Forever New Bag and a too-long skirt from my mother that I decided to wear up high. It had beautiful cream detailing that went perfectly with the blouse so, why not. Hope you're all making the most of the warmer weather!

Essence of Eternity: Aa Ball 2011

This year's annual Melbourne Uni Aa Ball was held at Crown Palladium and was a night of pretty girls and boys, delish food and champagne showers. Short post but plenty of pics :)

Blistered feet after dancing the night away with my nearest and dearest at Aa Ball 2011, so excuse the feet. 

I'm happily embracing the warm weather, digging out the floppy strawhats, sunscreen and summer dresses ready for warm spring nights. Daylight savings is a bitch though, I've missed almost all my morning lectures this week oh no.

Those in Melbourne should visit Zara on Bourke St sometime this week, their current collection is amazing! I have my eyes on a mustard blazer, a fuschia skirt and a red satchel (the tan one is amazing too, can't decide which one is better) that I am praying will make their way into my closet.

Somebody that I used to know

Another vintage dress that I altered sometime last year, it has such a nice bodyline that is so comfortable and easy to wear.

A heap of assignments due the coming week, so I have quite a few backposts that I've been meaning to put up! Promise another outfit post tomorrow and then some more pics from a Uni ball we went to at Crown Palladium.
